McDonald’s

Cultural Moment

Summary

Few brands spark nostalgia quite like the Golden Arches. For McDonald’s, bringing back McDonaldland meant giving fans of all ages the chance to experience it firsthand.

Their Ask

Introduce McDonaldland to a new generation through an immersive touring experience that would celebrate the brand’s legacy while evoking core memories for longtime fans.

Our Solutions

Turnkey recreated the world of McDonaldland through an immersive, larger-than-life experience that invited fans to step inside one of the brand’s most iconic campaigns. From racing down a 15-foot Mount McDonaldland slide to exploring Birdie’s Tree House, the Hamburger Patch, and Grimace’s golf cart, visitors became part of the nostalgic world that people have loved for generations.

Behind the scenes, Turnkey managed every aspect of the activation from start to finish. Each pop-up demonstrated how a legacy campaign can remain culturally relevant by creating meaningful connections across generations, turning nostalgia into an experience people could participate in.
