We are looking for a multi-faceted candidate ready to jump into the live events industry and assist with Turnkey’s warehouse logistics and DOT compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics & DOT Compliance Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee the Turnkey warehouse, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, warehouse cleanup and organization.
  • Manage Turnkey’s fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, DOT compliance, procurement of tools needed, and ensuring each vehicle is ready for a program launch at any time.
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of development, implementation, standardization, and management of Turnkey’s DOT Compliance Programs, including CMV Files management, DOT Driver Qualification Files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service, etc.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for Driver Background Checks, Pre-Employment Medical Screening & DOT Physicals, Previous Employer Release of Information, etc. in coordination & conjunction with HR, Risk Management, and Operations.
  • Prepare and submit required Federal and State DOT Trucking Registrations, Licensing, Compliance Reports, etc.
  • Provide support for field tracking of compliance for Hours of Service and Daily Vehicle Inspection (DVIR) regulations through electronic monitoring systems including ELDs.
  • Assist with conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, and closure of action items, and leverage learning across organization for all vehicle accidents involving Turnkey DOT’s personnel and/or equipment.
  • Work with Operations Team to implement and manage detailed, proactive systems to ensure compliance with Federal and State DOT Trucking regulations and Turnkey DOT requirements.
  • Conduct Trucking & Transportation applicability determinations, compliance audits.
  • Review pending and upcoming changes to Federal & State DOT Trucking regulations to ensure that Turnkey is prepared for future compliance requirements. Develop and communicate impact summaries of future regulatory changes to Leadership and Operations.
  • Perform Health & Safety applicability determinations, compliance audits, and risk assessments to ensure effective and sustainable implementation of Regulatory and Company requirements.
  • Serve as the internal leader and “go to” expert for DOT, monitoring emerging trends, programs and issues.
  • Travel to and on-site coordination and set up of various marketing events in the field, as needed.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations for key accounts, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Account Manager qualifications:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing a budget and some forecasting.
  • Great team player with the ability to create excellent working relationships across the group. Collaborative approach with all departments, particularly sales & operations.
  • Proactive and able to focus on several different projects at once.
  • Experience with content management systems, specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint, as well as inventory systems.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours for events or projects, as required, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 1 week per month, as needed.
  • Candidates must think on their feet and use their initiative to solve problems and deliver solutions
  • Comfortable with phone, email and in-person communication.
  • Eager to learn and excellent with communication.
  • Ability to work closely with a small team on a daily basis.
  • 4-6 years of warehouse and/or DOT experience preferred.
  • College degree required.
